Fromage Blanc Starter Cultures
Fromage Blanc, a creamy white cheese, whose name in French actually means “white cheese”, is easy to make with these starter cultures; and homemade fresh is, of course, almost always more delicious!
Fromage Blanc is similar to cream cheese with a rich, mild taste. It makes an excellent spread for crackers or bread or a dip for fruits and vegetables.

What does Direct-Set Culture mean?
Direct-Set cultures are packaged to make one batch. They are not usually recultured (i.e. fed and cared for to make more than a single batch). Direct-Set cultures are great (and often preferred) because they are so easy to use and require no maintenance. Just take out a packet and start your recipe.
